What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Reverse Logistics Senior Manager, you will manage day-to-day repair and refurb operations, including return device dispositions and refurb supplier coordination. You will:
Determine necessary repair parts, sources, cost and delivery in order to support repair demand;
Be responsible for gaining the greatest return on returned product by repairing high demand items to their best possible condition while maintaining lowest possible costs.
Interface with product management and marketing groups to establish demand forecast;
Develop a repair strategy with some blend of in-house repair and/or outsourced repair;
Manage the repair of products to OEM standards as quickly as possible while incurring least possible cost;
Drive achievement of rigorous KPIs, including (but not limited to):
Repair Quality: pass rate of cosmetic and functional verification;
Turn Around Time: measured in days;
Repair Yield: measured as % repaired vs attempted;
Repair Costs: $ spent vs baseline repair cost.
Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education;
8+ years logistics experience;
Experience in general repair operations, best if mobility device repair;
Experience managing high-tech products in a high-velocity repair operation;
Familiarity with High-tech products warehousing, mobility devices distribution is a plus;
Knowledge or certifications in Six Sigma or Lean Principles appreciated.
