We are currently looking for a Repair Coordinator is an integral part of our customers success as well as our sales and services teams. The position entails communicating with multiple entities; Emerson Impact Partners, principals, subcontractors, and coworkers to deliver a superior level of customer service to meet the customers goals. You must be able to respond to customer inquiries rapidly and assist with technical questions regarding valve repair. Primary job function is the creation and ownership of work orders related to shop repairs and field repair operations within our mechanical valve services business. This will require constant proactive engagement with all interested parties to manage the reprioritization and ever-changing customer needs. All NYNE employees are personally responsible and accountable to maintain a positive, safe, and collaborative team environment.
Responds immediately to customer inquiries.
Sources parts nationally to meet the customers needs including logistical coordination.
Purchase order preparation and order entry.
Scheduling and work order management.
Works with shop and field personnel on work order prioritization.
Interacts with Account Managers and customers showing a high level of urgency and situation fluency.
Logging and writing shop repair orders, field service repair orders, and subcontractor scope generation.
Estimates labor, material, and expenses to create a professional valve repair proposal.
Manages outsourcing of any machining, heat treat, welding, rigging, and scaffolding as required. Constantly looking for new vendors and technology to improve our business.
Works with all parties as needed to provide repair by replace strategy.
Manages all customer and internal documentation including:
Initial customer quote request
Shop Repair / Field Service Proposals
Work Order Documentation
Diagnostic Reports / Outage Data
Repair Report / Field Service Summaries
Asset tagging & management
4 Yr. College degree or equivalent work experience.
Major contributor to positive teamwork environment.
Self-motivated, self-reliant, self-directed, and highly organized.
Desire to strive for operational excellence.
Initiative in assuming new responsibilities.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize a wide variety of other duties.
High computer system application literacy including Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new business applications quickly.

Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence through tact, diplomacy, and finesse.
High level of mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn is a must.
