The Repair Assessment Technician disassembles, cleans and inspects used centrifuges or parts
Responsibilities / Tasks
Disassemble complete centrifuges or subassemblies of centrifuges.
Cleans deposits on centrifuge part using a process that is appropriate for the nature of the deposit.
Maintains cleaning solutions and supplies
Performs nondestructive testing of highly stressed parts using the dye penetration test method.
Records test findings in a dye test report and consults with the Product Safety Officer on any and all relevant findings.
Coordinates for further processing of parts with relevant findings as agreed upon with the Product Safety Officer
Visually inspects all repair parts and compiles a detailed inspection report.
Measures critical fits on parts
Records inspection findings and measurements in an inspection report and documents major damages with pictures
Reviews and completes required documentation and administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
Maintains a clean and organized environment.
Follows all QHSE rules and regulatory requirements.
