The Representative, Diet Office IIreflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This role is responsible for answering the telephone, processing communications regarding diet orders and maintaining the diet office system with current, correct information.
Casual position which mean that the hours per week are not guaranteed. No Benefits
hours are: . Start Times: 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM, End times 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Every other weekend is required, plus 1-2 days/week as needed.

Responsibilities:
Manages entire patient Room Service Process or meal service process in the evening independently.
Processes diet orders using appropriate diet office software.
Understands diet restrictions to assure patient food safety.
Assembles trays according to patient's requests and diet orders.
Coordinates with cafeteria cook and food service worker to assure hot food is hot, and cold food is cold.
Provides accurate and timely delivery of meals to patients.
Qualifications
Required:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Basic computer knowledge
Food Handler Certification within 180 days of hire
