Your role is pivotal in creating a seamless and exceptional customer experience while maintaining our commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork. You will lead a dedicated team, manage rental inventory, and ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Your ability to communicate effectively, motivate your team, and uphold our company's values and guiding principles will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Team Development: Lead by Example:

Demonstrate high standards of honesty, accountability, professionalism, and ethical behavior. Team Building: Recruit, coach, and develop rental department employees.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback to help employees reach their maximum potential.

Training: Plan and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in rental operations, customer service, and safety protocols. 2. Customer Experience: Customer Relations:

Maintain excellent customer relations by providing top-tier service and addressing any complaints promptly and professionally. Communication: Ensure high-level communication with customers to enhance their experience. Promote direct, honest, and open communication within the team to improve service delivery.

Sales Assistance: Assist customers with rental inquiries, provide product information, and handle special orders with efficiency. 3. Operational Excellence:

Safety First: Enforce all safety policies and programs. Ensure that safety is a priority in all operations, protecting employees, customers, and the environment.

Inventory Management: Oversee rental equipment inventory, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained, properly serviced, and ready for rental. Fleet Utilization:

Monitor fleet utilization, recommend adjustments, and optimize rental revenue through efficient scheduling and delivery coordination. Cost Control:

Manage expenses thoughtfully, examining processes for improvements and cost-effectiveness. 4.

Administrative Functions: Documentation: Maintain accurate records, files, and reports related to rental operations. Ensure timely submission of departmental objectives and performance reports.

Policy Enforcement: Enforce company policies and procedures consistently. Maintain high standards of conduct and productivity.

Housekeeping: Ensure the rental counter, showroom, and yard are clean, organized, and reflect the professionalism of our company. 5. Strategic Planning and Execution: Forecasting: Develop and implement strategies for fleet management, market penetration, and departmental profitability.

Objective Setting: Create and achieve departmental objectives focused on employee productivity, customer satisfaction, and market growth. Asset Utilization:

Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and assets are utilized efficiently. Identify underutilized assets and make informed decisions to optimize their use. Job Requisites:

Education/Training/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in rental operations and sales at the management level. Skills and Competencies:

Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and customer relations skills. Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to rental operations.

Ability to solve problems, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances. Critical Job Specifics: Ensure high-level customer service at all touchpoints.

Greet and assist all customers, both in-person and over the phone. Address customer feedback to encourage ongoing business relationships. Coordinate rental equipment maintenance with the service manager.

Manage delivery scheduling and driver training for optimal service and professionalism. Guiding Principles: Safety: Prioritize safety in all decisions and operations.
