Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and far west Texas, is seeking applications for a Rental Coordinator in Silverthorne, CO.
The Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating incoming calls, walk-in customers, and answering questions related to the securing and renting of equipment, parts, and general merchandise. This position is a front-line customer service position and is required to conduct high level customer service while coordinating the daily responsibilities of parts and equipment management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Answers phone calls in a timely manner and responds to walk-in customers as needed
Ensures cash drawer is balanced daily and conducts drawer audits as needed
Coordinates deliveries and pickups with Central Dispatch, advising them of changes as they occur
Generates accurate rental / sales contracts, updates and closes rental contracts, and makes calls to customers with overdue contracts
Maintains professional appearance of showroom
Ensures that safety practices are a part of everyone's daily routine
Conducts monthly merchandise inventory
Completes end of year cash reports on a quarterly basis
Enters relevant information into computer system for tracking purposes
Cleans bathrooms, showroom, and counter areas daily
Communicates with Service Department and Sales Department as needed
Maintains an organized process for tracking phone calls and managing both incoming calls and walkin customers
When needed, provides feedback to the branch manager for the annual performance review of drivers
Develops and maintains good relationships with all other internal departments
Provides high level customer service to both internal and external customers ensuring they are being understood and their problems are being solved
Conducts all steps of the average merchandise sales process: discussing needs with customer, identifies appropriate merchandise that meets the customer's need, provides pricing information as requested, enters purchase into computer system, obtains merchandise and ensures delivery
The Counter Rep can only sell merchandise, not equipment or parts
Provides follow up for any / all sales transaction, as needed
Makes pickups and deliveries, and assists as needed with other related tasks
Initiates, monitors, updates, and processes purchase orders for receiving by branch manager or designated backup
Receives and marks merchandise for sale in the showroom
Learns and fully understands pumps, their usability functions, troubleshooting, and related costs (performance and system capabilities)
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
Administrative / Clerical Experience
Customer Service Experience
