The Rental Coordinators primary function is managing and processing the branchs rental/sales along with dispatching assignments to drivers. Must fully support company vision and team culture.
Answer incoming calls from customers to take their order(s) for equipment. Always provide exceptional customers service and assist customer with questions concerning equipment. Always offer additional items i.e. berms, hoses, etc.
Coordinate activities with sales and customer to prepare documentation for Customer Contract set up, shipping, and return
May distribute daily assignments to Drivers
Ensure that all returned and/or off-rented equipment is properly documented
Responsible for maintaining branch inventory of all equipment. Coordinate equipment with the shop. Locate equipment when necessary
Responsible for tracking all tank washes
Provide back up support to other team members in the office as necessary
Assist team members with questions or any help they may need
Suggest ideas and ways to improve branch efficiency
Other duties as assigned
Computer, telephone and electronic office equipment
MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
Access the companys internal systems including, Salesforce, Results, Intranet, Descartes, bank websites, e-invoicing and chat software
Salesforce and Results
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
2+ years of experience in rental industry, customer service, or billing, preferred
Exposure to standard concepts of scheduling and dispatching
1+ year of Customer Service Experience
Exposure to DOT and state specific safety regulations helpful
Communicate clearly: verbal and written
1-2 years of data entry experience
Strong MS Excel experience preferred
