Position Summary Details

The Rental Car Driver will transport individual passenger vehicles (compact through large SUV) within the airport car rental facility to meet customer needs. Employees will be responsible for filling out basic paperwork to track vehicle movements as well as keeping in constant communication with our dispatch office.

Hiring for: Multiple shifts available (working weekends is required)
Location: Orlando International Airport MCO
Pay rate: $12.25-$13.25 per hour with a $1,000 Sign on Bonus

Essential Functions

Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates.
Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
Complies with all safety, security, compliance and safety standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

Responsibilities

Transports vehicles providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
Inspects vehicles on a regular basis to find any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues
Immediately reports any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
Maintains safe driver designation and applicable physical and dexterity standards
Performs pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, compliance with proper safety standards.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a valid US Driver's License
Must be able to operate a vehicle day or night SAFELY and EFFICIENTLY and in all weather conditions.
Must be able to communicate by telephone/ two-way radios.
Must be able to read, understand and complete driver trip sheets and other documents.
A criminal background check, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment, and a drug screening are required

VIEW JOBS POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for effectively renting electric (5-600hp) and diesel powered (185-1600cfm) air compressors along with diesel powered portable generators (25-2000kw) and related items for the industrial, commercial, medical, institutional, petrochemical and oil & gas markets in an assigned territory to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>Generate new customer accounts as well as service and maintain existing accounts. Analyze customer needs and interests and determine how company products and services can best meet their needs.</li><li>Recommend and rent electric and diesel powered air compressors, diesel powered portable generators and related equipment and services utilizing knowledge of machine operations.</li><li>Achieve sales goals and forecasts, as established by the department and the organization.</li><li>Assist in marketing and sale of new products and/or prototypes to the existing marketplace.</li><li>Review completed jobs for variations in component costing.</li><li>Interface with other departments, including engineering, manufacturing, production and purchasing, to oversee project development and ensure timely delivery of finished products.</li><li>Monitors sales orders to ensure project costs, materials lists and delivery schedules meets project specifications and deadlines.</li><li>Compute installation or production costs, and prepare and submit bid specifications to existing and potential customers for review.
