Who you are:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to follow instructions with meticulous attention to detail and in a timely manner
Ability to carry out duties according to the delegated priority order
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints is a must-have skill
Possession of a valid California driver's license is necessary
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential
Intermediate to advanced math skills are required
Must possess the ability to diagnose and resolve problems
Job Summary:
The Renovation Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the refurbishment team on a daily basis and coordinating their tasks, as well as performing duties related to refurbishment and minor repairs.
Essential Job Duties (other duties as assigned):
Coordinate and lead a multi-department refurbishment team to ensure units are ready for new and existing residents. This includes standardizing units by removing items, checking systems and appliances for proper operation and customization
Perform necessary work to complete refurbishment tasks and coordinate the work of other team members to ensure timely completion
Purchase materials necessary for renovations
Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and renovation team for refurbishment projects in collaboration with the Director of Plant Operations
Prioritize all work orders as set by the Director of Plant Operations
Participate in emergency drills and serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team
Attend Marketing meetings and mandatory in-service meetings
Work as a member of a team
Accept change in a positive manner and contributes to a positive, health, and safe work environment
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
