The Renewal Account Representative is responsible for managing and renewing existing customers with existing Renaissance Learning products and services. Responsible for cultivating customer relationships as part of teamed sales groups and in partnership with other sales support, while achieving renewal goals for assessment and instructional tools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Functions and Responsibilities:
o Accountability for achieving annual renewal rates for assigned customers, and professional development sales targets, by territory.
o Represent Renaissance to customers by delivering proposals and quotes, as well as managing and resolving any customer concerns or issues related to renewing sales opportunities.
o Use the sales process to manage and close opportunities and subscriptions; similarly use the necessary Renaissance designated systems to keep customer account, contact, lead, and other customer data in CRM.
o Support a region, work well with sales teams and partners in designated territories, communicate effectively, drive for results as a unit, clearly define actions and steps for each participant on the team. Work well with other sales teams and internal partners to drive for greater efficiencies and sales results.
o Leverage partners and build strong working relationships with internal support, pre-sales support, market expertise to build strong sales strategies, drive efficiencies, and achieve sales success and performance achievement.
o Incorporate EDGE UP methodology in opportunity management and vetting
o Conform with all safety rules and use safety equipment as appropriate to the role
Market Functions and Responsibilities:
o Develop and cultivate key customers and relationships through timely virtual meetings
o Have an understanding of customer buying cycles, market trends by state and local designations, and incorporate those learnings into your approach to the educational customer.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
