Role Overview:

We are seeking a Manager, Business Development (BD) to join our Missions Systems BD team in Latin America (LATAM). As a Sales Manager you will be accountable for the orders plan for LATAM, both short term (current year) and long term (5-year forecast), and you will be responsible for the execution of business development strategies to capture new, competitive business. You will be directly responsible for the development of a number of accounts within the Ministry of Defense / Armed Services and the Aerospace and Defence industry in LATAM.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Successful candidates typically possess a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Prior experience working as SCO or Attach in US Embassies in LATAM is a differential

  • Prior business development experience in sales, account management, and marketing within the Defense industry.

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with military communications, datalinks, and networking.

  • Proven track record of growing a set of accounts (orders / sales growth) with a demonstrated passion to win and ability to create and convert leads into opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written): proficiency in English is mandatory, basic conversation skills in Spanish is considered an asset
