Corteva Agriscience, Agriculture Divisionof DowDuPont is seeking a Remote Sensing Data Scientist to join ourglobal Data Science and Informatics group working on predictive analytics fordigital agriculture. If you are interested in analyzing one of the largestcollections of farm data; optimizing management practices for one of thelargest farming operations; or developing analytical solutions that will enablenext generation of genetics/crop-protection/farm-management-practices formillions of farm-acres across the globe, our opening for Remote Sensing DataScientist is your opportunity.

At Corteva Agriscience, you'll become part of aninterdisciplinary, global work environment in which you will operate asremote sensing data scientist who will collaborate with senior data scientiststo deploy state-of-the-art methods in remote sensing, data science andartificial intelligence to mine critical problems spanning multiple segments ofthe organization. Your strong technical background in machine/deep learning,statistics, data manipulation and visualization, will enable you to gaininsights from a wide array of structured and unstructured datasets. Youwill play a major role by expediting & driving innovation in agriculturetechnology.

Working closely with data scientists, data engineers,researchers and business collaborators across the organization, you willdevelop and deploy sophisticated end-to-end solutions on a wide range ofproblems in digital agriculture. This will require excellent interpersonalcommunication skills and an aptitude for building networks, within and outsidethe company.

Job Qualifications

  • PhD or MSc in a quantitative data science discipline

  • 2+ years of work experience post MSc.

  • Good understanding of remote sensing fundamentals, data science algorithms & statistics.

  • Experience in the implementing and optimizing machine-learning algorithms.

  • Experience in dealing with large scale spatio-temporal data, preferably on a cloud or high-performance computing environment.

  • Expert programming skills in Python, R and C/C++ with the ability to quickly create prototype solutions on Unix / Linux / Cloud platforms using open source tooling and libraries as necessary.

  • Experience with deploying prototype solutions on Google Earth Engine will be preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills and a can-do attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work as part of a global team and, at times, independently while appropriately prioritizing tasks.

As the MDS Coordinator you will play a major role in planning, directing, and coordinating aspects of resident assessments, completion of MDS, RAI/RAPS and resident care plans. You will also monitor the total plan of care to improve, maintain or anticipate significant changes, collaborating and educating other clinicians to assure each resident achieves their highest practical level of physical and mental well being. You will determine when all Admit, Quarterly, and Annual Minimum Data Sets (MDS's) are due and notify the appropriate team members or departments of those due dates. You will also determine when there is a need for a Significant Change in Condition MDS. Your knowledge of clinical and regulatory requirements will make you a valuable asset and resource to the entire nursing team. Job Requirements * RN licensed in the State of Iowa, plus a minimum of two years related experience in a long-term care setting is desirable. * A minimum of one year's experience in completion of resident assessment, MDS, RAI/RAPS, and Care Plans. * Ability to demonstrate computer experience in entry of MDS, RAI/RAPS, and Care Plans, as well as electronic submission of Care Plans. * Must have an acceptable background check and no record of adult abuse. * Must possess the willingness to work harmoniously with other staff members and in a resident-directed, social model of care. * Must be clearly familiar with and practice Residents' Rights. * Must attend household meetings and in-service meetings as scheduled and complete required trainings in a timely fashion. * Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to work with challenging resident situations and personalities. * Ability to manage multiple functions under stress and with changing priorities.
