Remote Revenue Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

LBMC is actively seeking a Revenue Manager for our team. Qualified candidate must have a strong financial and accounting background with a desire and aptitude for understanding and applying technology to solve business problems.

PRIMARY DUTIES | RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct, lead, and monitor day-to-day activities of the billing and accounts receivable functions.

• Engage with billing team to ensure billing accuracy and completeness.

• Management of the contract module in Sage Intacct and development of guidelines and training documents outlining best practices.

• Oversee the collections process and collaborate with division managers to prevent delinquent accounts.

• Proactively develop and implement departmental policies and procedures when needed.

• Analyze performance of the revenue cycle function to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Develop dashboards and reports to track metrics and key performance indicators, with strong focus on SaaS metrics.

• Maintain customer sales tax exemptions and assist with general sales tax calculation questions.

• Provide mentorship and consistently evaluate employee responsibilities, particularly with regards to cross-functional skills and training

• Manage and maintain revenue cycle systems and platforms such as Sage Intacct, Microsoft CRM, Versapay, and Avalara.

• Assist with annual revenue planning and budgeting.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS | SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• 8+ years of experience with at least 4 years of management responsibility

• Highly motivated self-starter and problem solver that is both organized and detail oriented

• Superior analytical skills and ability to break down complex issues and implement appropriate resolutions

• Desire and aptitude for learning about and applying technology concepts in support of company business objectives

• A proven track record in working on a project team and working on multiple projects at the same time while ensuring that project milestones and quality objectives are achieved.

• Ability to work with all levels of personnel and executives within an organization

• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
