  • You will install and manage customer products, while creating opportunities to sell them on new personalized technology;

Ideal technicians have:

  • High energy, resourcefulness, and ability to multitask

  • An eye for opportunities to sell to every customer

  • Strong customer advocacy skills: friendly, communicative, connected, with a high degree of integrity

  • Sales, electrical, maintenance/repair, cable, military, and/or customer service experience preferred

All technicians must have:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time on ladders, lift over 70 lbs. at times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates and remain within the individual weight requirement of 335 lbs.

  • Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets DISH's minimum safety standard

  • Ability to adapt, both in mentality and work hours. Five/six-day workweeks may be required during peak seasonal times

Our Remote In-Home Solutions Techicians are required to have the following:

  • Minimum 5'x5'x10' covered and secured area at residence

  • Computer with broadband internet

  • Ability to plug in all DISH Network chargeable devices

  • Dedicated off-street parking at residence

  • Ground floor access for equipment (preferred)

VIEW JOBS 7/15/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-10-13T00:00 * Duties Help Duties Summary The incumbents serve as a principal assistant on a Ranger District performing work in support of the units recreation program in Region 3 Learn more about this agency Responsibilities * Responsibilities listed are at the full performance grade level. * Assist other resource personnel to develop long-range plans for managing recreation resources within management developed and dispersed recreation sites on the unit. * Identify potential problems arising from changing use patterns and new activities and recommends strategies to deal with them. * Assist in the development of plans for recreation area maintenance, rehabilitation, reconstruction, and construction projects in accordance with program management objectives and policies. * Recommend settings for a variety of proposed recreation facilities and provides information about the characteristics of each area. * Serve as the point of contact with community organizations and interest groups to generate interest in and use of forest recreation facilities. * Inspect recreation areas, areas of concentrated public use, and special use permits for compliance with the permit and the management plans, public health, and safety plan. * Serve as Collection Officer for recreation sites, collects fees, counts and reconciles money collected, and ensures deposits are made appropriately. * Patrol management unit to collect use data, identify or correct unsafe conditions, answer visitor inquiries, prevent vandalism and other anti-social behavior. Specialized Experience Requirement: For the GS-05: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-04 grade level; OR a bachelor's degree or 4 years of successfully completed education above high school (120 semester/180 quarter hours) with major study in forestry, range management, agriculture, or a subject-matter field directly related to the position, or that included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of courses such as forestry, agriculture, crop or plant science, range management or conservation, wildlife management, watershed management, soil science, natural resources, outdoor recreation management, civil or forest engineering, or wildland fire science (no more than six (6) semester hours in mathematics is creditable); OR combination of post high school education (beyond the first 60 semester hours) and specialized experience. The education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. Specialized experience is defined as one or more of the following: Inspect recreation area clean-up operations and perform safety hazard analysis of public recreation use areas; patrol wilderness to ensure that areas were operated, used, and maintained in accordance with wilderness management plans; perform site maintenance, including cleanup and naturalizing at widely dispersed sites; gather, compile, and report recreation program data for use in monitoring and assessment activities and summarized data for use in recreation data management systems. For the GS-06: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal service OR one (1) full year (18 semester) of successfully completed graduate level coursework that is directly related to the work of the position; such as: forestry, range management, agriculture course of study above high school leading to a bachelor's degree with major study in forestry, range management, agriculture, or a subject-matter field directly related to the position OR combination of graduate level education and specialized experience that together meets the requirements of the position. The education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. Specialized experience is defined as one or more of the following: Inspect special use permits such as outfitter guide operations, issued notices of non-compliance issues and report to supervisor; inspect and maintain recreation facilities and areas; lead or coordinate crew to maintain recreation sites or; monitor forest areas to identify violations of federal regulations such as enforcement of off-road vehicle restrictions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
