SUMMARY The Email & SMS marketing manager is responsible for managing the organization's email marketing campaigns and maximizing revenue opportunities from Rite Aid's Omni-channel, CRM and customer database. The Manager, Email & SMS Marketing will be responsible for deploying daily emails and SMS campaigns, helping to manage a rigorous testing agenda and maintaining a healthy email and SMS file.

In addition to driving day-to-day email operations and analytics, this position should also be able to think strategically and develop plans for Email and SMS campaigns and programming. Frequent independent judgments are essential. This position will serve as the Rite Aid Subject Matter Expert in Email and SMS marketing helping to drive the overall effectiveness at Rite Aid.

Expertise in email and SMS marketing at an eCommerce or retail company, with proficiency in customer centric marketing preferred. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid's brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Work with the Sr. Manager, Engagement Marketing to manage and execute aggressive email and SMS communication calendar. Measure and share out performance across digital marketing, ecommerce, merchandizing and customer experience teams in order to educate teams on successes and learnings Coordinate assets and deliverables with ESP, agencies and internal teams.

Effectively work with multiple agency partners across multiple campaigns. Develop and maintain relationships with top tier email partners Develop an ongoing email testing program to improve open rate, click-through rate, and conversion rate with the goal of increasing in-store and online revenue penetration, always targeting best in class. Orchestration, workflow and process development/improvement of all email and SMS campaigns Proactively provide recommendations to improve and optimize email landing pages and content, and generate comprehensive performance reports through Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and email and SMS tools Develop automated lifecycle and transactional triggered programs aimed at improving LTV and repeat purchase in partnership with digital marketing Stay current with the latest trends in email and SMS marketing.

Understand how these changes may impact Rite Aid's omni-channel strategy and be able to analyze potential impact and course correct as needed. Perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities. As a natural change agent and tendency towards continuous improvement, provide proactive recommendations to improve targeted email and SMS campaigns Develop tactics to help grow Rite Aid's email and SMS database.

Further develop a strategy and plan to acquire new email addresses and mobile numbers. Review email and SMS data to develop insights to improve Rite Aid's email marketing program and better understand digital's influence on in-store and online revenue and pharmacy scripts Drive knowledge sharing, innovation and best practices across the organization related to email and SMS marketing. Define and help prioritize digital initiatives and site improvements to achieve email and SMS success for all revenue driving constituents (Rx, FE, and digital commerce) Experience / Requirements Pertinent competencies, knowledge, abilities, and/or training Email marketing experience using Adobe Campaign Classic Experience with email template design HTML and mobile best practices Excellent organizational, verbal and writing communication skills Strong business acumen, stakeholder and cross functional leadership, collaboration and communication skills General Positional Expereince Requirements 5-7 years of experience in Email and SMS marketing experience 5-7 years of experience in Working in Digital Marketing or advertising Education Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Business or Marketing preferred
