ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Remedy Administrator located in Washington DC. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.
Receive, record, troubleshoot and resolve incoming Incidents, Service Requests and Tasks with prompt, courteous, and efficient responses and resolutions to each inquiry.
Develop, promote and provide training to clients/customers/users on features or processes that may be problematic or hard to understand.
Participate in projects related to installation, upgrade, configuration, feature design, development and data loads for BMC Remedy applications.
Perform other duties as required.
Required Job Experience:
Performing requirements elicitation, feature design, and feature development.
Experience and knowledge of administration and configuration of the BMC Remedy Suite: ITSM, Atrium CMDB, SmartReporting and SmartIT applications.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments.
Developing and creating end-user presentations and/or training materials for IT related offerings.
Possess: strong communication skills and a team player; strong communication and presentation skills; strong organization and time management skills; strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Current knowledge of latest BMC Remedy technology.
Preferred Experience (nice to have):
Prior experience in a Help Desk organization or IT Service Delivery/Application Development team environment.
MS System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Kinetic Survey, and RightAnswers integrations.
Familiarity with VM-ware and MS SQL-Server platforms.
Creation and maintenance of design specifications, architectural diagrams, process diagrams supporting, and communicating changes to BMC Remedy applications.
ITIL v3, Remedy accreditations or certifications.
