Relief Spa Receptionist and Reservation Agent
First impressions are everything! As a Spa Receptionist, you have the opportunity to provide a welcome experience like no other. Your personalized greeting, care in treatment selection and knowledge of the spa will ensure our guests have a lasting memory of their visit
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Punch in and out on time clock; no more than 15 minutes before or after shift. Punch out for lunch breaks as well
Arrive for your shift in uniform, looking clean and professional
Attend all scheduled staff meetings
Read departmental memo book daily, as you will be held accountable for knowing that information
Greet guest with a smile, eye contact and use surname (example Mr. Jackson)
Ensure that the guest has a full understanding of the service and is comfortable with the process verifying appointments and times
Interact with guests in a friendly, service oriented manner
Refrain from discussion of politics, salary or company information in public areas
Understanding and ability to perform department opening and closing procedures
Efficiently and accurately check-in guest
Handling guest complaints and problem solving as necessary
Promote sales of treatments with a priority to up-selling and suggestive selling to guests
Regularly check computer for service openings throughout the day being aware of what needs to be sold, and looking to prevent mishaps
Communicate supply needs to front desk supervisor in writing
Knowledge and ability to process gift certificate purchases
Answer telephone with proper, courteous identification greeting within three rings
Scheduling individual services for guests with accuracy and consistency using individual log in
Consistently ask each guest if either a male or female therapist is acceptable to him or her
Maintain accurate cashiering and bank responsibilities
Present your bank to manager/supervisor at the end of each month for auditing
Accurately and completely handle all cancellations using your birth month, dates and initials as the cancellation number
Inform manager of unsafe equipment, practices or guest reactions
Perform requested duties of guest service manager/front desk supervisor as needed
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
