Job Description: AmeriPride Services is seeking Relief CSR's-Delivery Drivers to join their dynamic workforce!

In this client-facing role, you will execute all functions regarding the delivery and pickup of goods to and from customers. You will fill in for other Customer Service Representatives while he/she cannot perform the duties of their dedicated delivery routes. On these routes you will visit between 20 and 45 customers per day.

Throughout your deliveries, you will work to promote AmeriPride, our core values and our products and services. Essentially, our delivery drivers serve as the first line of customer contact striving to retain and increase our existing Business-to-Business sales.

This position requires individuals who are able to assess our customers' ongoing needs. Therefore, you must be perceptive and observant as well as privy to the fundamental goals of every business you work with. Job Responsibilities

As a Relief CSR for AmeriPride, you will ensure that all customer invoicing and inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date. Also, prior to each delivery day, you will review customer paperwork for special needs or considerations identifying upsell opportunities and how to best position our products or services to meet the clients' needs.

Additional responsibilities for the Customer Service Rep include:

Organizing products in your vehicle

Reviewing customer inventories and storage areas upon each visit

Collecting product for laundering

Consistently building rapport and adding value through your delivery

Monitoring and seeking feedback from customers on perceived levels of service

Consulting customers on additional product options

Coordinating with CSMs and CSSs about creating solutions for current customers' needs and product gaps.

Requirements

Commercial Vehicles Operation

Must be physically qualified to drive a Commercial Motor Vehicle and carry a medical examiners certificate stating such qualifications as dictated by Company, Federal (Such as FMCSR 391.41) or Provincial regulations in the country in which the job duties will take place.

As a Relief CSR for AmeriPride, you must maintain a clean, professional and tidy personal appearance. You must also always practice appropriate lifting and carrying techniques as well as take every safety measure while driving.

Additional requirements of the Relief CSR include:

Must be 21 years old

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year of previous delivery or route sales experience, desired

Proven record of punctual work attendance

Excellent driving record

Lifting ability: up to 75 pounds

Push & Pull ability (with assistance): up to 100 pounds

Ability to work a 8-10 hour day

Hold and maintain a DOT medical certification

Bilingual (Spanish and/or French), a plus

Having good communication, writing and math skills

Collect empty cases. * Resolve customer complaints. * Stock and/or rotate product on shelves or in cold room. * Reset product displays. * Required to either transport product across state lines, or if delivering intrastate, to haul some products that originate in other states. * Must maintain idle time to company standards * Must be able to complete assigned route within DOT time regulations. * Implement and maintain plan o gram integrity and Point of sale material where needed. * Maintain a valid Class B CDL (based on established route) and current DOT medical card. * Per Company and/or DOT regulations, report any moving violations to management immediately. * Checks load security prior to travel and at each stop, making adjustments when needed. * Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook. * Complete all daily DOT and customer paperwork including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, and vehicle service reports. * Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes. * Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook. * Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. * Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. * Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas. * Responsible for food safety, pre*requisite programs and food quality related to designated area. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately. * Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 6 months related experience required. * Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. * Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred. * Must be able to drive, stand, walk, kneel, lift and bend required for virtually the entire shift. * Balance-pulling product, climb in and out of truck. * Ability to lift and/or move up to six cases on hand truck. (Cases weigh 20 to 55 lbs.). * Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environment with moderate noise, sometimes slippery floors. Temperature range from 34-120 degrees F. * Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays. * Be able to effectively work in a team environment. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment. * Must possess and maintain a CDL Class B with Air Brake. * Must have a clean driving record. * Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).
