SUMMARY:

Seeking an experienced Technician in the Reliability lab. The Reliability Technician will design and fabricate test fixtures and hardware as required.

The candidate must be capable of troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues and perform routine preventative maintenance on test chambers and setups. The position will work closely with Reliability Engineers to document test plans and results and ensure proper execution of reliability testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be capable of troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues and perform routine preventative maintenance on test chambers and setups.

  • Work with a small group of technicians and engineers to build reliability test stations

  • Maintain controlled reliability lab documents.

  • Develop and maintain reliability test setup

  • Maintain test equipment calibration and records

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate of EE Science degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years experiences in EE field.

  • Hands on experience in a dynamic environment with aggressive schedules

  • Experience working with mechanical and electronic measurement equipment

  • Experience working with environmental test equipment such as High Temp, Humidity, Temp Cycle, and Temp Shock

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs

  • Working with design engineers, perform failure analysis activities

  • Be creative, self-motivated, and resourceful

  • Exceptional multi-tasking ability

  • Software program is a plus

Position Requirements * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Must provide own tools. * Ability to work independently. * Ability to reach and maintain prescribed productivity levels for assembly. * Reliable transportation. * Maintain an acceptable attendance record. * Required availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to provide an acceptable background screen. * Ability to pass a drug screen. Essential Job Functions * Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and periodically climb up and down stairs. * Ability to work exposed to outside temperatures. * Frequently bending, kneeling and reaching. * Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble small parts and calibrate precise measurements. * Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and oral.
