Provide technical expertise in a specific reliability discipline (Instrumentation, electrical, and/or analyzers).
Ensure Compliance of regulatory requirements and Electrical MI policies (i.e. NEC, NFPA, IEEE).
Improve Electrical Reliability of units by implementing repair recommendations, materials of construction and fit for service reviews all based on engineering codes and RAGAGEPS.
Create predictive and preventative maintenance care plans.
Update and standardize technology.
Create/lead standardized Electrical procedures for sites.
Experience/knowledge troubleshooting plastics compounding equipment (extruders, feeders, pelletizers, classifiers, AC/DC VFD's conveying systems).
Experienced understanding of electricity and electrical devices
Experience drafting electrical predictive and preventative maintenance care plans.
Ability to prioritize work individually, but also work well within a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong safety background.
Proficient with creating electrical predictive and preventative maintenance care plans.
Own standardization of electrical technology.
Work with OEM's and unit teams on specification and selection of new equipment.
Review KPI's within discipline and develop action plans.
Network with peers at other sites and across industry to identify and adopt best practices for electrical technology and reliability programs.
Lead and provide direction for electrical MI programs and technical directives.
Provide technical support/expertise within your discipline in the design and installation stages of projects for new assets and modification of existing assets to minimize life cycle cost and maximize asset availability.
Maintain required regulatory equipment, failure modes evaluation, gap plan and resolution for improving reliability.
Reliability approval of new designs and approver for MOC reliability changes.
Participate in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers. Develop acceptance tests and inspection criteria.
Lead or Participate in incident investigations and RCA's.
Provide recommendations to resolve emerging and elevated issues as part of the "Bad Actor" process.
Participate in factory acceptance testing for new installations.
Strong in excel, word, powerpoint.
Experienced in SAP Maintenance module.
Some travel required.
Manage risk to the achievement of an organization's strategic objectives in the areas of environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production.
