Be a member of a Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety team committed to project success in a challenging and dynamic aerospace environment. You will participate with a cross-functional project team of engineers to design and develop aerospace avionics components and systems. Your efforts will ensure reliable product performance and safe operation of federated and integrated systems for Honeywell's customers.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Learn to use business systems and analysis tools to analyze, predict, and improve aerospace hardware equipment for multiple aerospace applications in avionics and flight controls.

  • Engineer systems to meet requirements of industrial and governmental guidelines including FAA, DOD, SAE, ARINC, and MIL Handbooks.

  • Work with cross-functional team members, providing engineering support to resolve technical problems of known and unknown natures.
    25 Apply prescriptive methodology to project tasks 25 Collaborate with engineering teams 25 Prepare or update reports 25 Communicate non-compliance incidents

YOU MUST HAVE:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Must have graduated, from an accredited college or university, since August 2018, or will graduate by August 2019

Due to program requirements, must be a US citizen or permanent resident

When not responding to ERT events, daily duties include performing fab walk-throughs (maintaining a physical presence in the Fab, Sub-Fab, Basement, Fan Attic, and Roof/Penthouse and Entire F11X site), involvement in preventive safety programs such as Safety and ERT training, safety advisor during the planning of various projects, creating or presenting shift safety presentations, preventive maintenance/upgrading of ERT equipment and supplies, and ensuring the readiness of the Shift Emergency Response Team. The candidate will be a role model for Incident an Injury Free, lead or mentor applicable teams, such as the Shift Safety Team, to produce high-quality safety results in order to meet the safety goals of the area and/or organization. The candidate will be accountable for maintaining customer relations with the F11X organization and the F11X/NM Site support organizations including: Site Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, and others. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: * Strong verbal and written communications skills along with demonstrated organizational and leadership skills working in a high matrix environment. * Ability to influence the Manufacturing Management Team and Support Organizations, including outside agencies. * Excellent analytical and presentation skills and be able to deliver training, incident and updates concisely to wide audience. * Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and outgoing team leader with strong motivational skills. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * 5+ years of experience as an Emergency Responder, preferably in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. * This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position. * Candidate must willing to lift up to 25 lbs., walking long distances, and/or standing/sitting for extended periods of time. * Candidates must be willing to work on a compressed work week schedule. Shifts are twelve hours long and rotate from three to four days a week. Preferred Skills: * Working knowledge of the ERT SOP and Incident Command Structure. * Prior leadership roles in emergency response capacity within the last 2 years. * Knowledge of OSHA 1910.120 regulations. * Knowledge of Facilities/Life Safety Systems including Perm alert, Midas, Vesda, Vertex. * Level 1-2 Infrared Thermography certification. * Able to pass ERT medical monitoring by Intel Occupational Health (required for Full Time Emergency Responders). * Proficient in all MS Suite software applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
