Pay Range

$75,800.00-$104,300.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

Summary:

The Reliability and Project Engineer has the overall responsibility for monitoring and improving the reliability and performance of plant production and support equipment. This individual will champion the Asset Care and Reliability (AC&R) program, execute site capital projects, perform root cause analysis of failures, and lead continuous improvement and reliability initiatives. This person is a key resource for the Plant Engineering Department.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Lead the Asset Care and Reliability - mechanical and electrical - program for the Spartanburg site.

• Utilize data visualization software to analyze and summarize key production outputs and identify opportunities for productivity gains.

• Implement and manage a predictive maintenance program including thermal scanning, ultrasonic, tribology and vibration monitoring to ensure compliance to established standards.

• Execute capital projects by identifying opportunities for improvement, justifying project impact, gaining business approval, and installing equipment.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team and external vendors to accomplish goals.

• Partner with Maintenance and Process Engineering to solve issues that affect machine uptime, scrap, and efficiency.

• Improve maintenance planning and procedures via reliability tools.

• Hands-on facilitation of RCCA events (root cause corrective action).

• Review Engineering specs and design modifications to process equipment for reliability capability.

• Maintain and update the preventative maintenance standard operating procedures.

• May include supervisory responsibilities of maintenance team.

• Support a 24/7 manufacturing facility

What You Bring to the Team:

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineeri Preferred) with with a minimum of 1 year's engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing industry

• Proven history of continuous improvement accomplishments.

• Working knowledge of root cause analysis, predictive and preventive maintenance systems.

• Demonstrated ability to execute capital projects.

• Excellent communication, organizational, teamwork, and computer skills

• Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals in team-based environment.

• Strong leadership skills that include a strong sense of ownership.

• Proven problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative.

• AutoCAD, SAP.

• Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
