Role Overview: As a Release Train Engineer at Orion Innovation, you are responsible for orchestrating the Agile Release Train (ART) and ensuring alignment with business objectives. you will play a pivotal role in driving Agile methodologies and best practices within our wealth management domain. You will lead and facilitate Scaled Agile ceremonies, foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Scaled Agile principles and extensive experience in the wealth management industry.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

ART Coordination: Facilitate and lead Agile Release Train events such as Program Increment (PI) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Inspect and Adapt workshops, and other ceremonies to ensure smooth execution.

Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to align on priorities, dependencies, and strategic direction.

Team Support: Coach and mentor Agile teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners on Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement.

Risk Management: Identify, escalate, and resolve impediments and risks that may impact the ART's ability to deliver value on time and with high quality.

Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and progress towards objectives, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the ART and across the organization, leveraging feedback loops and retrospectives.

Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and empowering culture within the ART, promoting transparency, trust, and accountability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

• 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience as a SAFe Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer in the wealth management domain.

• Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar role within Agile environments, preferably with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Experience working with distributed Agile teams and offshore development centres.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Proven track record of driving Agile transformations and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Knowledge of wealth management products, processes, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
