What You Will Do:
Provides support to physicians, clinical professionals, and HIM staff by assuming responsibility for the release of information functions. Understands laws, guidelines, and polices/procedures related to release of patient information. Deals with public daily, and handles phone, faxes, walk in visitors. Performs other routine duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of medical terminology course required within one year of employment.
Experience
Computer experience required. Minimum two years experience in medical office/hospital setting required.
Qualifications
Familiarity with basic office equipment required Excellent communication/organizational skills required
