The Product Manager is responsible for partnering with stakeholders to deliver continuous business value. The role requires Agile product owner experience as well as technical knowledge to drive product backlog, manage release plans and stakeholder expectations while providing leadership across the product lifecycle - from inception to deployment. The technical product manager communicates with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement during product planning, development and deployment.
Proficiency in related processes such as portfolio management, program management, methods and tools and quality assurance is also required. The Product Manager must have excellent stakeholder relationship management skills to successfully lead and provide direction to large cross functional teams
Experience in Agile Product Management with annual invest budgets of up to $20mm in value.
Work with Product Owner and with Product Owner Proxy's (POPs) in prioritizing User Stories, backlogs, and roadmaps using Agile Scrum best practices.
Manage teams, project managers, and POPs to deliver projects and value to business.
Manage build and release plans that includes dependencies across scrum teams, dev
Ops teams and infrastructure teams to ensure successful deployment of product in UAT and production
Perform retrospective and quality of releases and deployments to various environments
Support and lead release deployments in production across Azure, OnPrem globally
Formalize acceptance of the sprint, build, and project result.
Work with vendors to review product quality, acceptance of sprint and continuous improvements on an ongoing basis
Coach, mentor and support POPs and project managers.
Work within defined governance processes and Agile best practices.
Ensure that quality project standards are met as prescribed by IT Services through the effective implementation or use of approved processes, methodologies and deliverables.
To qualify, candidates must have:
Proven experience leading teams on large scale mission critical web apps
15+ years in a corporate IT environment.
10 years' experience in project, product or delivery management, specifically with Microsoft technology stack
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent experience required.
Mastery of technical aspects of program and project management inter-related process stages i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management
Excellent knowledge of portfolio management, methods and tools and quality assurance
Proven mastery in stakeholder relationship management skills to successfully lead & manage the program / project teams and stakeholders
A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
Must have a development background.
Leader and driver in the use of Agile methodologies, processes and standards for projects.
Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure) is a differentiator.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Analytical skills and problem solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously.
Strong team working skills across client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams.
Demonstrated experience working for large organizations on complex projects.

Extensive experience of delivery that includes the use of supplier and off-shore resources.
Experienced in managing to contract; ensuring clients and suppliers alike perform in accordance with original agreement.
Experience in a professional services industry, preferred.
Experience in cloud technologies (Azure) preferred
Project management certification is preferred (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2).
Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3 would be advantageous.
Limited national and international travel may be required
