  • Get training and one-on-one career coaching from managers who are invested in your success. You'll take part in additional training and development through our Academy for Consumer and Small Business to develop in your role.

  • Grow your business knowledge and network by using a defined consultative questioning approach with clients to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions, as well as partnering with experts.

  • Confidently build relationships with clients. Gain in-depth knowledge of clients' financial life priorities and connect them to our solutions that meet their financial goals.

  • Provide clients with a personalized rewarding experience by executing a variety of defined client engagement strategies through relationship calling, in-person conversations and referrals to specialists.

  • Continuously learn by using resources and technologies to optimize the client experience.

  • Can be flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.

  • Is a commissioned notary or can successfully obtain a notary commission in the state you work within four months of start date in role (eight months for employees with a work location of CA, NY or PA).

You'll be better prepared if you have (desired skills)

  • Experience assessing client needs, identifying/recommending solutions, and building/managing client relationships.

  • Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products and solutions.

  • Sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment.

  • Experience working in an environment with individual and team goals where goals were routinely met or exceeded.

VDOT is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with bridge maintenance/construction skills and leadership experience to serve as the supervisor of the bridge maintenance crew in *Hampton Roads District- Structure and Bridge Division- District Bridge Crew.* This position is a working supervisor for crew that repairs, maintains, and replaces bridges and other structures. Assists the Bridge Superintendent in assessing needs and planning, scheduling, assigning, and evaluating work; estimating materials, labor, and cost and ordering supplies; developing budgets and spend plans; monitoring project costs and other expenditures; supervising bridge crew during normal and emergency operations; leading safety meetings and training staff on safety methods and protocols; and maintaining work accomplishment records and project documentation. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of structure and bridge construction and maintenance methods, procedures, practices and equipment. Considerable knowledge of safety policies, procedures and programs applicable to highway and bridge maintenance work, equipment and tools. Knowledge of basic inventory practices and procedures and ability to complete reports and maintain records. Ability to lead, direct and train others. Ability to perform heavy manual labor and operate and maintain light and medium equipment used for bridge maintenance and repair. Ability to plan work schedules and identify and assign manpower, materials, and equipment needed to accomplish the job. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to work at heights, over and, in water, in heavy traffic and other adverse conditions. Skill in the use of computers and software applications. Considerable skill in the use of various carpentry tools, concrete forming and finishing methods, and fabricating steel components and welding. Ability to obtain flagger and DCR Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector certifications. Commercial Driver's License required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in structure and bridge maintenance, repair and replacement. Experience in carpentry, concrete placement and finishing, and steel component fabrication. Experience leading, supervising and training others. Ability to read and interpret bridge and structure plans and specifications. High school graduate diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience or training may substitute for education. Special Requirements References, work history, and DMV records will be verified. Selected applicant must complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Requires approved safety shoes. Fingerprint-based criminal history records check required.
