A Service Relationship Manager has a broad scope of responsibility for managing multiple product partners to support service and operational effectiveness. Including (but not limited to), supporting appropriate products, services, and tools, coordinating with other departments and divisions on product launches, changes, service and operational meetings, and product partner accountability.

Conclusions must ensure collaboration with a variety of business areas across the organization. The position is required to have a deep understanding of product partner processes/operations, key stakeholders, and the downstream impact of operational changes in alignment with Edward Jones guiding principles. Through collaboration this individual must be able to clearly communicate the branch experience and hold our product partners accountable for a consistent and streamlined insurance experience. Lead and/or serve as a subject matter expert on large scale firm projects and/or business area initiatives that may pose changes to our organization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing detailed analysis of information, along with alternative solutions and present recommendations to business area leaders and product partners for process improvements to benefit branch and client needs.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of product partner service and operational support. Address feedback with product partners to ensure service levels and key operational metrics are being met.

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with relationship, operational, and service managers at each product partner to support branch, service, and operational needs.

  • Initiate regular communication of changes or issues with associates and leaders in Operations, Service, Compliance, and Client Solutions Group to ensure alignment of Firm, Division, and Department goals.

  • Resolve complex client problems related to insurance related products and services and communicate resolutions to the branch office.

Position Requirements:

  • State life and health insurance license required within 90 days of hire.

  • Series 7 and Series 66 required.

  • Technical insurance product knowledge required.

  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry or related field is required (or) 5+ years of relevant relationship management/product knowledge and experience is required.

What could set you apart:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or related are of study.

  • CLU, ChFC, CFP designations held or in pursuit of CLU or ChFC is highly encouraged.

  • Position requires extensive breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding of the following: product types we offer, systems, processes, and procedural guidelines across divisions and multiple departments.

  • Must be able to communicate complex details effectively; ensuring understanding and influencing senior leaders, branches, internal stakeholders, vendors, and other external parties to support department goals and collaborate to get results.

  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, independently learn new processes, prioritize, and delegate a heavy workload to be able to fulfill all the roles within the area.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Tableau, Salesforce, and/or Excel. Experience creating and analyzing product partner specific reports, using internet reference material and external resources to proactively develop measures, make decisions or to manage ongoing controls for the business area, in relation to product partner relationships.
