Here'swhat you'll do:
The Relationship Manager II is responsible forsoliciting, negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of complexcommercial loans in compliance with the
Bank's lending policies and procedures; develops business deposit relationshipswith clients; and promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good clientrelations and referring clients to appropriate staff for new services. The Relationship Manager II assists inattaining established Bank and financial center goals through activeparticipation in sales management and officer call programs, and is expected toprovide leadership, training and support to less experienced loan officers andother staff members. The Relationship Manager II is a credible advocate for theclient within the Bank and of the Bank to the client.
Essential Job Duties
Engages in businessdevelopment activities and solicitation of new business; actively involved increating and maintaining a results-driven, positive sales environment.
Seeks out, activelyparticipates in and applies education related to Bank products and services.
Works with clients andprospective clients to identify banking needs. Collects information required to evaluate their creditworthiness andservice requirements.
Performs assessment andanalysis of financial condition and credit risk within the framework of the Bank'scredit culture and current economic and industry trends.
Gathers and analyzesall information necessary to present loan recommendations for approval; meetswith existing or potential clients; visits existing and potential clients'places of business and/or properties offered as collateral; negotiates loanterms and conditions; refers and recommends loan approval to the appropriateauthority.
Distills relevantclient financial and industry information, prepares client presentationmaterial as appropriate. Able tocommunicate any relevant client-related issues and/or challenges.
Coordinates processingof approved loans; ensures loans are documented and processed according toagreement, client needs and conform to Bank lending policies; obtainssufficient information and/or documentation from clients; ensures that problemsare solved relative to processing and servicing of loans within his or herportfolio; approves loan disbursements in accordance with agreements anddelegated authority. Monitors assignedloans for compliance with loan covenants and for changes in credit risk.
Reinforces superior client service through his orher own example along with appropriate follow-through with involved clients andemployees.
Represents the Bank in various community, civic,and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image anddevelop additional business; assists the Bank in establishing and maintainingmarket position and visibility in its service area.

What you need for thisposition:
Sevenyears related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
Work-relatedexperience should consist of a financial analysis or lending background.
Advancedexperience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax returnanalysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting,financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
Advancedexperience, knowledge and training in all lending activities and terminology.
Demonstratedsuccess in client acquisition and client relationship expansion.
