POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree or equivalent work related-experience required.
Minimum three years of client service or relationship management experience in a financial service industry required.
Familiarity with online tools and shareholder recordkeeping/accounting systems required.
In-depth knowledge of mutual funds, operations and services preferred.
Prior project management as a project lead preferred.
Experience servicing or managing offshore clients preferred.
Fluency in Spanish or German preferred.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Develop positive and long-term relationships with intermediary and institutional clients invested in our globally registered products.
Profile clients and understand decision making process; identify needs/objectives to address common objections/delays.
Conduct meetings with key clients to develop and maintain relationships, understand their business models, goals, and objectives.
Solicit client feedback to ensure client satisfaction with products and services delivered. Identify trends impacting quality of service and opportunities for improvement; develop and implement plans for resolution.
Manage client onboarding including contract and application processes through initial system set up, training, and enlisting support of other Federated Hermes' departments as needed.
Manage use of Federated Hermes' resources (service, sales, legal and product development) as well as Federated Hermes' vendors to mediate or support client or prospect initiatives, such as conversions or new business implementation.
Represent Federated Hermes' interests in negotiating new contracts/agreements, while working to gain consensus with the client. Work to extend contractual relationships with current clients.
Secure, contribute or provide client information in response to compliance/risk management-initiated requests.
Participate in or suggest creative solutions to operational issues by recommending enhancements/ improvements to existing policies and procedures within constraints of the prudent management of risk.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal personnel across divisions to gain a global perspective on Federated Hermes' and its partners'/vendors' capabilities to service clients.
Utilize Salesforce to track client information and activity. Make timely updates to Salesforce for client activities, issues, tasks, profiles, and contacts.
Work closely with Federated Hermes' wholesalers, Global Account Managers, and exclusive third-party consultants to gain and share client insight and to foster a cohesive client support team.
