Position Description

Responsible for one or more of the following activities: first/third party billing utilizing the patient financial information system, adjudicating claims, follow-up reviews, processing/tracking of submissions, remittances and rejections, inpatient/outpatient registration, cashiering, credit and collections, charge master maintenance, follow-up with insurance companies and patients to ensure that all patient accounts are paid in a timely fashion. Also responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to provide for the efficient and effective management of accounts receivable.

Minimum Requirements
6 months related experience, preferably in a healthcare organization

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Requires strong verbal and written skills in order to effectively communicate with co-workers and medical office personnel. Strong organizational/computer skills


High School diploma or equivalent

VIEW JOBS 11/19/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-17T00:00 SUMMARY: The Project Administration Specialist provides the Site Development department with back-office coordination and support across all product lines, assets, and programs in our Siterra and Oracle systems. The incumbent's core responsibilities include project setup (creating and continually adjusting programs and projects); managing all project-related purchase orders ("POs"); monitoring the financial status of all projects; and closing out budges and projects in Oracle upon project completion. The Project Administration Specialist ensures the smooth and timely completion of projects. Support tasks include creating programs and projects; adjusting the scopes of projects; creating Oracle budgets; requesting and monitoring POs; monitoring invoicing, receivables, and collections; managing the project cancellation process; and closing Oracle projects. The Project Administration Specialist will take on extra projects and assignments, including training new Project Administration Specialists, special reporting, and leading cross-team project coordination. The incumbent must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision by navigating and resolving complex issues without escalation to the Manager, and guiding others on similar issues. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Build strong relationships with internal customers to help facilitate successful completion of projects. Points of contact include internal Project Managers and Construction Managers, the Accounting, Central Billing, and Audit departments, and others as necessary. * Build strong relationships with external customers to help facilitate requesting and maintenance of revenue POs and check requests. * Build strong relationships with vendors to help facilitate requesting, maintenance, and invoicing of vendor POs and check requests. * Develop training programs and provide training and guidance to Project Administration Specialists under the direction of the Manger; act as resource for issue resolution. * Attend customer calls and work closely with Program, Project, and Construction Managers to maintain Oracle budgets and customer system databases; maintain organized project files and ensure databases contain only pertinent project files. * Provide high-level analyses of project budgets and bring presumed discrepancies to the attention of the Project Manager for review. * Log POs and coordinate customer invoicing. * Assist Project and Construction Managers with Oracle task-level cost reviews and budget transfers. * Provide back-up to other regions in times of heavy workload or vacations to ensure all requests are completed and flow consistently and in timely manner; serve as back-up for Team Leader when necessary. * Proactively provide, and communicate solutions of problems and production issues, to key internal stakeholders, including Program, Project, and Construction Managers, as well as Site Development department leadership. * Assist leadership with researching, solving, or completing various issues and with developing and implementing process improvements and systems to improve cycle times. OTHER: * Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: * None. QUALIFICATIONS: * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Oracle. * Strong financial background, including basic understanding of budgets, invoicing, and financial project structure. * Strong administrative, data entry, and customer service skills. * Proficiency with tracking status of projects and evaluating financial reports. * Able to exhaust all avenues to resolve an issue before escalating to supervisor. * Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. * Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs. * Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively. * Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment. * Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers and vendors. * Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions. * Ability to act as a team leader. * Strong ability to multi-task and assist others while providing exceptional service to designated region. * Must be reliable and able to prioritize workload. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Four-year college degree or equivalent experience required. * Moderate knowledge and understanding of tower development, site acquisition, and construction for wireless sites preferred. ENVIRONMENT: Approximately 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.
