Position Description

Responsible for one or more of the following activities: first/third party billing utilizing the patient financial information system, adjudicating claims, follow-up reviews, processing/tracking of submissions, remittances and rejections, inpatient/outpatient registration, cashiering, credit and collections, charge master maintenance, follow-up with insurance companies and patients to ensure that all patient accounts are paid in a timely fashion. Also responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to provide for the efficient and effective management of accounts receivable.

Minimum Requirements
6 months related experience, preferably in a healthcare organization

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Requires strong verbal and written skills in order to effectively communicate with co-workers and medical office personnel. Strong organizational/computer skills


High School diploma or equivalent

Manage tickets and customers to a very high level customer service and support. What we're looking for... You enjoy digging into the details to find solutions. Communicating with people comes naturally to you. Not only are you are a great listener, but you know how to ask the right questions to get to the root cause of an issue. You'll need to have: * Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience. * Four or more years of relevant work experience. * Proficiency on Juniper or Cisco routers. Even better if you have: * A degree. * Great technical writing skills and the ability to write basic test automation scripts. * Extensive experience troubleshooting applications. * Strong technical competency and problem solving skills. * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under pressure. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Previous help desk experience or tech education. * 3+ years of industry experience in technical support preferred. * Application and desktop troubleshooting skills. * Experience in high-touch, professional, customer service oriented end-user support. * Understanding of telecommunication technology, network flow, products/services and IT systems. * Knowledge of: CMIS, ETMS, VZB Central, VEC, MS Office, Windows and Mac OS, Android and/or iPhone.
