Part Time Rehabilitation Aide
Division/Program:
(Inpatient Youth) Psychiatric Youth Facility
Starting Compensation:
21.00 USD Per Hour
Working Location:
Fresno, CA
Working Hours/Shift:
Saturday-Sunday 8:00am-4:30pm the First and Third Weekends of the month

What you bring to SBHG:
- High School degree required
- (1) year experience with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents, inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
How you will make a difference:
- Coordinate with the treatment team to ensure understanding of each client's treatment plan and implementation.
- Plan and conduct both large and small activity groups.
- Document and report clients' attendance, performance, socialization, incidents and participation in activity and therapeutic groups.
- Encourage and promote participation through motivational techniques, support methods coaching, and guidance.
- Ensure clients are meeting with treatment team and completing daily tasks assigned.
- Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings.
- Assist with maintaining inventory and equipment by visually inspecting equipment and supply levels and then communicating needs in writing or orally to the Rehabilitation Therapist.
- Develop a theme and schedule a series of special activities for assigned holiday or event.
- Maintain visual awareness of clients' physical and psychiatric limitations and insure the safety of clients at all times.
- Assist Youth Counselor staff in helping to coordinate clients' unstructured times and meal times, when necessary.
Division/Program Overview:
- 24/7 inpatient involuntary program
- 16-bed facility for acute youth (ages 12-17)
- Intensive treatment programs with individualized care plans
- Available for contracting Central Valley counties
- Moves clients through five phases: admission; engagement; learning; stabilization and linkage to resources and aftercare
