Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a full time

Rehabiltiation Aide to join our team at Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington.

Our Rehabiltiation Aide position requires Red Cross Lifegaurd Certification or equivalent within 90 days of hire. Qualfied candidates must posses the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, as well as have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide direct care to residents as assigned by the therapist based upon regulations and established clinical best practices. Assist residents with activities of daily living, transfers, therapy set up, transportation of residents, and other duties as assigned by the therapist. Communicate resident daily status with therapist. Maintain all required documentation in accordance with regulations and established clinical best practices. Complete administrative documentation (billing documents and procedures, statistical reports, and other assigned documents) to meet established policies and procedures of the rehabilitation department. Complete daily billing, computer entry, daily schedule of therapies, filing, copying, telephone orders and other duties within established guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Training as a rehab aide or able to successfully complete on the job training.

  • Basic knowledge of medical records.

  • Possess computer skills.

  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.

  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
