Position Highlights:

• Gain hands-on experience in care working alongside nurses and other professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.

Job Summary

Provides support for physical therapy staff. Performs cleaning, assisting PTs and PTAs, answers phones, files, schedules and communicates on the phone.

Performs medical transcription and other typing as necessary, files, schedules, enters data and communicates on the phone. Works with insurance companies to receive authorization for physical therapy visits from patients. Provides support for services provided at Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital and Clinic, Highmore outreach clinic and all other outreach services.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
