Rehabilitation Aide

• Outpatient Rehabilitation

As a Rehabilitation Aide, take part in the continuum of patient care in our dynamic outpatient rehabilitation department. Assist in maintaining therapy areas by obtaining rehabilitation equipment, maintaining inventory of supplies and restocking linen and medical supplies. May provide transport of patients as needed. Under the supervision of a rehabilitation therapist, assist with the care of patients of all ages and diagnoses in our outpatient setting. Candidates for the position should have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a team setting managing a high volume of patients and be comfortable interacting with patients.

Schedule

This is a full-time position working Monday

• Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Preferred Criteria

• 1 year outpatient experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Six months hospital experience.

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Demonstrated interest in working with Rehabilitation Medicine patients. Knowledge of policies and procedures of Rehabilitation Medicine.

• Knowledge of equipment and supplies required by Rehabilitation Medicine Department.
