Rehab Therapy Tech IIThe Therapist Technician will be hired and/or directly supervised by the Rehabilitation Therapist IV. The Therapist Technician's primary responsibilities include: assist the habilitation/rehabilitation supervisor in providing assistance to individuals for an assigned therapeutic specialty, (e.g., supported employment job coaching and/or vocational rehabilitation and vocational/day program). Work involves assisting with services as directed by implementing treatment plans for assigned therapeutic specialty.
May accompany clients to and from activities and appointment, perform housekeeping duties in therapeutic activity areas. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Essential Job Functions:
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. Prepares materials for assessments based on prior assessments and provides assistance to consumers through hands-on methods and direct contact observations by assisting the habilitation/rehabilitation supervisor in providing assistance to individuals for an assigned therapeutic specialty, (e.g., supported employment job coaching and/or vocational rehabilitation and vocational/day program). Completes observation notes.
Collects data related to treatment plans as instructed. Assists in completing assessments and response to interventions. Work with Rehabilitation Therapy Technician IV's to maintain a connection with the staff at this level and when assisting with the development of treatment plans for their assigned discipline are able to provide feedback that is feasible for RTT IV's while in the best interest of the individuals.
Maintains current skills in relation to assigned responsibilities. Knowledge Skills Abilities:

Experience providing active treatment in a day habilitation/vocational environment. (i.e. vocational, recreational, music, geriatric); Experience collecting, reviewing, and reporting active treatment data in a habilitation/vocational environment. (i.e. vocational, recreational, music, geriatric); Experience providing formal SAP training in a 1:1 situation; Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; Ability to work under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.Additional Information:
