TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, 53226 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (Staff RN) Job Specialty: Spinal/General Rehabilitation Job Duration: 13-week Contract Shift: Night Shift, 36 hours per week, every third weekend on a three-week rotating schedule Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: License: Registered Nurse License (State-specific or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact) Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent, required within 90 days of hire. Must-Have: Job Description:
Deliver nursing care to an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
Demonstrate competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and/or situation.
Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation.
Develop a plan prescribing strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
Implement the identified plan and evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes.
Attain knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practice.
Participate in ongoing educational activities related to appropriate knowledge bases and professional issues.
Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning through self-reflection and inquiry.
Identify learning needs based on nursing knowledge and changing needs of the population.
Participate in formal or informal consultations to address nursing practice issues.
Share educational findings, experiences, and ideas with peers.
Contribute to a work environment conducive to the education of healthcare professionals. Skills and Duties Continued:

Assess personal communication skills in encounters with patients, families, and colleagues.
Seek continuous improvement in communication and conflict resolution skills.
Convey information in formats promoting accuracy.
Question the rationale supporting care processes and decisions when they do not appear to be in the patient's best interest.
Disclose observations or concerns related to hazards and errors in care or practice environment to the appropriate level.
Maintain communication with other providers to minimize risks associated with transfers and transitions in care delivery.
