Responsibilities include program development, improvement and promotion within specialty area. Serves as a liaison for medical staff within specialty area.
Ensures the standard of care within specialty area is current throughout all Rehabilitation locations at Northside Hospital. Assists leadership to ensure standardization and efficiency within specialty area.
1.Minimum of B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy; M.S. degree and certificate in Speech/Language Pathology or Academic Doctorate in Audiology.
2.For Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Advanced Board Certification in a specialty area recognized by the national accreditation body in specific discipline. (See Section of Recognized Board Certifications)
3.Three (3) years experience in the general practice of occupational therapy, physical therapy, Speech/Language Pathology or Audiology and at least one (1) year experience in the specialty area.
4.Must be certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
5.Board Certified NCS with at least 1 year experience. Vestibular expereince preferred.
