Student Therapist PD

POSITION PURPOSE:

Under the general supervision of the rehab manager, the rehab tech will perform duties based on the level of education they have achieved in their specific program. At a minimum they will be tasked with providing assistance to the therapist in the outpatient department for set-up of patient treatments and wrap-up of patient care.

They may be asked to assist with hand-on care when patients require two assist for more skilled interventions. The tech will also be trained on front desk support and clinic maintenance such and equipment cleaning and stocking.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma. Enrollment in a physical therapy, physical therapy assistant or occupational therapy assistant degree program. Able to read, write, and speak English.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

BLS certification required-
