Rehab Aide

Pay Range: $ 18.72/hr - $ 24.00/hr *Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is $21.20/hr, based on applicable experience POSITION SUMMARY: The Rehab Aide is responsible for providing support to the Physical and Occupational Therapist in the performance of routine duties.# These duties include but are not limited to, assistance with patient care, clerical, and housekeeping tasks.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Desired: - Experience with direct patient care.# - Degree, or working towards degree completion, in a patient care field (such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, exercise physiology, etc) LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: - Current CPR recognition SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Must be personable, compassionate and caring individual with a willingness to learn new tasks.# Good interpersonal and communication skills.# Must be flexible, reliable, self-motivated and possess positive problem solving skills.# Must be able to work effectively with staff and public.4/16/10: verified with jd on F drive & updated mission - sf
