Rehab Aide

POSITION SUMMARY Reports To: Physical Therapy Coordinator and Director of Rehab Services Summary: Primary responsibility is to assist therapists with patient care by providing support as allowed by the State of Indiana. Other duties include but are not limited to: scheduling of patients for therapy appointments, helping maintain a clean, safe environment for employees and patients, and clerical duties which support the therapists and department as a whole. This position also requires one to maintain accurate records for medical companies, and documentation of infection control as needed. Work Schedule: May work 8- to 10-hour a day, between the hours of 7:30 am to 6 pm. SKILLS # ABILITIES Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience Medical Terminology knowledge or medical experience is preferred. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft#Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility. Knowledge of basic computer skills for Windows. Certificates # Licenses N/A Other Requirements Should be proficient in the job within 3 months. This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching outward, and lifting and carrying 0-20 lbs.
