Position Summary:

Performs a variety of tasks in support of the New Development and Exploration Regulatory group. Inputs information efficiently and accurately from a variety of sources into forms and computer databases. Works with staff regulatory professionals to ensure correct data is gathered and input and easily accessed for analysis and reporting. Generates notifications and reports with little direction.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Prepare and file forms (APD forms, Sundry notices etc.) for state and federal regulatory agencies as required

  • Maintain well files and ensure all submitted and approved permits are filed appropriately

  • Provide support as needed to regulatory staff for all compliance issues

  • Manage systems to support regulatory compliance requirements (spud notifications, drilling reports, completions reports, well status reports, inactive well tests)

  • Compile data required to gain approvals for recompletion, plug and abandon, and downhole commingling

  • Prepare workover rig notice of intents and subsequent reporting

  • Monitor daily drilling and production activity to ensure compliance with approved permits and initiate action for compliance

  • Finalize government approvals for operational and drilling activities

  • Maintain well files and ensure all submitted and approved permits are filed appropriately

  • Provide support as needed to regulatory staff for all compliance issues

  • Knowledge of WellView, Avocet, and Generwell

  • Enable professional staff to work more efficiently by accurately managing critical information through database input, manipulation and analysis

  • Receive information through correspondence with internal and external parties and select appropriate data for entry

  • Mine information from other databases for compilation into a single database

  • Request information from internal and external sources for entry into databases

  • Prepare reports and presentations suitable for management

  • Properly store data and reports for future reference

  • Strategize with professional staff to optimize the methods of obtaining and entering data

  • Develop and implement training and mentoring of analysts or professionals in the use of various databases

  • Accountable for timely submittal of required federal, state and local agency reports

  • Maintain access rights to various databases as organizational changes occur

  • Troubleshoot databases to ensure outputs are accurate and complete

  • Network across the company to understand possible commonalities and efficiencies in data management

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • 3 years of oil and gas industry experience

  • 1 years of regulatory experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong understanding of oil and gas rules and processes

Preferred:

  • Good understanding of Upstream Oil and Gas Operations including downhole operations, completion designs, wellbore schematics etc

  • Relative regulatory work experience in Colorado and Wyoming

  • Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (ie Spotfire)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well autonomously or in a team setting

  • Ability to organize multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments.

  • Builds strong relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to best support the business

  • Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals

  • Listens actively and invites dialogue for shared understanding, then influences and acts to drive performance and achieve results

Description: Reporting to the L48 Invoice Processing Supervisor, the L48 Invoice Processing Associate will be a key member of a functional Lower 48 Supply Chain team. The role is responsible for verifying invoice submissions and routing them appropriately for processing. This position may also be based in Bartlesville, OK. Responsibilities may include: * Effectively communicate with Business, Supply Chain Coordinators & Suppliers in the areas of POs, OLAs, invoice processing, eCommerce enablement, vendor master, master data, etc. * Complete invoice reconciliation audits with vendors as assigned * Complete rejection and resubmission monitoring; provide guidance to vendors where required * Address general vendor and internal queries * Monitor invoices in header error * If requested, monitor team's invoice workflow volume and status daily * If requested, train team and new employees on process and policies * If requested, audit team procedure against policy and processes * Process invoices and service entries (audit and verify invoices, including checking application of indirect taxes, verifying invoice details, approval signatures and appropriate cost codes) via SAP (FI or MM Module) as applicable * Resolve ConocoPhillips errors on escalated invoices * Communicate process improvement opportunities to optimize interfaces, processes & tools; develop action items and drive completion * Lead internal training sessions for invoice reviewers and approvers * Complete daily monitoring of unapproved invoice due dates; follow up with reviewers and approvers to ensure on-time payments * Participate in team meetings * Perform any additional functions as required Basic/Required: * Legally authorized to work in the United States * 1 years of experience with SAP * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred: * Bachelor's degree * 3 years' experience related to accounts payable, contracts, finance or related field * Excel spreadsheet intermediate to advanced * Ability to work autonomously in a client focus, team environment * High attention to detail * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong time management skills * Excellent customer service skills * Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable and standing up for what is right * Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals * Generates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical To be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date of December 17, 2018.
