The Global Regulatory Affairs Office (GRAO) is responsible for overseeing the enhancement of our risk management and controls, remediation of regulatory and audit findings and the administration of regulatory affairs, including establishing a centralized and sustainable connection point for global regulatory communications.

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst- Sr. Consultant reports to the Regulatory Affairs Manager and into the Global Head of Regulatory Program Management; and supports periodic regulatory reporting efforts for any impacted matters under the leadership of the GRAO. The primary responsibilities include data aggregation, collation, analysis, and coordination across the GRAO portfolio; drafting regulatory reporting updates and engaging with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The role holder will require the ability to organize inputs into aggregated reporting and to organize inputs, work product and documentation using modern toolsets and repositories. The analyst should have experience in risk management, law, compliance, or project management and should draw on that experience to engage with stakeholders across a wide variety of functions. They should be able to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion and attention to detail.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Responsible for performing day to day management of tasks and work product in alignment with the Regulatory Reporting team

  • Acts as a resource supporting internal and third-party resources to build repeatable, reliable processes and tools to support periodic reporting objectives

  • Ingest, analyze and draft reports in support of meeting internal and regulatory objectives

  • Write or obtain from stakeholders clear, concise summaries of work completed, informed by an understanding of risk and control objectives and programs

  • Identification of issues, risks and decisions needed to drive reporting activities forward

  • Maintain all documentation repositories required for the regulatory reporting effort

  • Work with technology partners to Takes a new perspective on existing solutions and develop repeatable processes which minimize manual data gathering and leverage existing information

  • Meet established timelines for intake, production, drafting and finalization of materials with limited re-work

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • A College or University degree and relevant legal, regulatory reporting, risk management, program management or compliance experience with industry knowledge (financial risk, non-financial risk, regulatory and/or compliance)

  • 7+ years' experience supporting regulatory reporting, compliance or legal programs at a large financial institution

  • Proven experience drafting and working with stakeholders to complete periodic reporting

  • Technical skills: Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office 365 suite required (expert with Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe).

  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and adaptable to change

  • Results oriented

  • Great skills producing written material able to clearly explain complex topics

  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills and time management skill
