The Business Support Manager will be responsible for coordinating strategic priorities, business operations, and business controls for the Global Risk Management (GRM) COO, Regulatory Relations and Governance organization. In addition the Business Support Manager may lead and/or participate in GRM wide initiatives in support or GRM or members of the GRM Senior Leadership Team.
Serves as the point person for GRM COO on the coordination of business activities including strategic planning, risk challenges, risk ID, attestations, and initiative planning/management
Prepares the GRM COO for key meetings, overseeing the preparation of relevant materials and talking points (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Review, regulatory meetings, committee meetings)
Partners with centralized business operations and controls teams on the strategy and execution of Associate Investment Monitoring, records management, Recovery and Resolution Planning, third party management, expense management and location strategy
Oversees the status of critical business measures including Risk and LOB owned issues, SIM/OpEx/ECoM process, financials, and models/critical-use spreadsheet and provides periodic reviews related to these topics
Coordinates and drives effective management routines, town halls and communication activities
Partners with HR on workforce planning, location strategy, organizational health and engagement strategies
Connects with ESDI and learning council to plan and execute deliverables
Potential to engage with the SIM, OpEx and ECoM leads to support and/or lead key deliverables across GRM
Manages associates responsible for developing and executing on the routines for the Quarterly Business Reviews and Monthly Business Reviews for the GRM Senior Leadership Team as well as evaluating key expense items for the GRM Senior Leadership Team on a monthly basis.

Proven business operations and business controls experience
Working knowledge of risk management and regulatory interactions
10+ years of experience in financial services industry or experience in a related field
Strong analytical, financial management and organizational skills; focus on attention to detail
Excellent written / verbal communication skills and executive presence.
Proven ability to develop executive ready communications and presentations.
