Job Summary The Regulatory Outcomes Analyst is responsible primarily for reviewing and maintaining documentation, data, including charts and databases to identify operational and regulatory opportunities for improvement. The Regulatory Outcomes Analyst monitors federal, state, and JCAHO regulatory agency requirements as they relate to environment of care and life safety.

The Regulatory Outcomes Analyst assists hospital staff, senior leadership with functions requiring documentation and data analysis. Description Minimum Required # Experience 5 years in a health care setting # Education Bachelor#s Degree # Special Skills Knowledge of regulatory agency standards (Joint Commission, CMS Conditions of Participation, Louisiana Administrative Code, OSHA). Knowledge of Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office for Civil Rights Final Rule Section 1557, Non-Discrimination and Accessibility Act. Computer and statistical knowledge required. Proficient in Microsoft Office. # Licensure Current Registered Nurse License from the State of Louisiana preferred. # #19793

Job Summary This position coordinates the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety and emergency preparedness activities for the hospital and related entities. To accomplish this, the incumbent will lead processes for the development, testing, continuous improvement, and management of safety and emergency preparedness plans, policies and procedures. The ability to develop / present presentations to large groups, participate on internal and external committees, and develop reports is essential. Description Minimum Required Experience Five years safety experience with at least three years in hospital-based safety Education Bachelor#s degree in Safety Engineering or related healthcare curricula. Training Knowledge of Federal, State, local codes and the standards of NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, JCAHO, and applicable CFRs. Special Skills Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of related test/sampling equipment; Ability to conduct investigations, surveys/inspections, training programs. Knowledge of hazardous materials and waste management, PPE, fire emergency procedures, emergency preparedness, medical equipment. Basic computer skills. Can lift up to 80 pounds of weight.
