Regulatory Data Analyst (Need Locals)Location: Culver city, CA. Hybrid.Contract role.Job SummaryApple's Environmental Technologies group is seeking temporary professional servicesof a Regulatory Data Analyst to help manage current product and regulatory compliancedata and documentation by product, considering current and future key globalregulatory requirements, especially within essential tools such as AirTable. TheRegulatory Data Analyst will collaborate closely with regulatory and data analystpersonnel at Apple to coordinate and integrate data and create key data visualizationoutputs and automations.
Key Requirements
• 2+ years experience using AirTable to manage and build AirTable workflows andautomations, and utilizing it to integrate and organize complex data sets
• Minimum 2 years project management experience in data analysis project operationswith familiarity of project management principles and tools
• Experience with Javascript and Python preferred
• Proficient with managing, analyzing, and synthesizing large datasets
• Experience in the electronics industry preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
• Advanced MS Excel skills required, experience with Tableau or other reporting and/orvisualization tools preferred
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
• Preferred: Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and Bills ofMaterial (BOM), ideally for complex products like electronics
• Preferred: Knowledge on global regulations for chemicals such as VOC and PFAS,experience in managing product compliance data collectionDescriptionThis professional services requirement for a regulatory data analyst is within Apple'sEnvironmental Technologies group within Apple's Hardware Engineering division. Ourmission is to deliver the world's leading programs on the elimination of hazardoussubstances, improved material and energy efficiency, as well as design for environment.Apple believes that major improvements in environmental performance will be deliveredthrough product design innovations.The analyst will be supporting environmental efforts for Apple products by helpingmanage current product and regulatory compliance data, primarily in AirTable and anydata systems that integrate with it, and documentation by product, considering currentand future key global regulatory requirements. Lastly, the analyst will utilize programmanagement skills to track and operate multiple data projects across coincidingtimelines.Education and ExperienceMS in data science or related field preferred with proficiency in AirTableBS degree in Sciences/Engineering/ Information Technology or a related field with 3+years of relevant industry experience.
