OfficeTeam is working with a growing company to hire a highly-skilled and motivated Office Assistant, who will provide support with various administrative duties in the Regulatory Affairs department. Are you a hard worker who loves handling multiple projects at once with a positive outlook? Then we have the Office Assistant opportunity for you! This opportunity and is located in the Goleta, California area. Your responsibilities: - File, copy and faxing for various departments

  • Direct calls appropriately

  • Submit data in various forms into electronic systems

  • Oversee office facility

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's with a background in Science preferred

  • Implement and improve changes in procedures immediately

  • Ideal candidate should possess knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets

  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, e.g., able to edit, paginate, format large documents

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • Succeed independently with tasks

  • Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast paced and challenging environment

  • Capacity to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials

  • Numeric data entry experience preferred

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel and adeptness in Microsoft Word

  • Comprehensive knowledge of physical inventory

  • Shipping and receiving experience preferred

  • Expert at Adobe Acrobat, scanning, combining files, editing, bookmarking, etc.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions with a high level of accuracy

VIEW JOBS 1/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-07T00:00 The Regulatory Affairs Specialist (RAS) develops and executes strategies for regulatory approvals to introduce new and modified medical devices to the market for the Neurosurgical business. The RAS translates regulatory requirements into project/product requirements, prepares regulatory submissions, and negotiates their approval with regulatory agencies as required. Primary responsibilities include: preparing US, CA, and EU regulatory submissions; providing documentation for submissions; supporting post-market regulatory compliance activities; evaluating proposed product changes for regulatory impact, all while ensuring timely and high-quality execution of assigned regulatory deliverables. This role focuses on regulatory support for the US, EU, and Canadian markets, with a wide variety of regulatory tasks to allow you to make the most of your existing knowledge base while growing your RA skill set every day. In this role, you will have primary RA responsibility for multiple Class II and Class III products, working within a collaborative team environment that fosters professional development while focusing on meeting business objectives with excellence. From developing and authoring regulatory submissions to providing critical input on cross-functional project teams, this role is an excellent opportunity for the right regulatory professional to take their career to the next level at the world's leading medical device company. Position Responsibilities: * Develop US and EU regulatory strategies for product submissions, identifying needs for bench, animal and clinical testing. * Assist in keeping company informed of regulatory requirements in the US and EU. * Participate on Product Development teams by providing regulatory strategy, timelines, and direction. * Prepare US and EU submissions. Work with Notified Body and FDA to obtain product approval/clearance. * Ensure relevant ISO and FDA requirements are met, as required. * Review Change Orders and assess regulatory impact of product changes on US and/or EU regulatory strategy and submissions per standard procedures. * Review labeling, training, promotional and advertising material. * Support post market regulatory compliance activities for US/EU product approvals. * Serve as a RA Process Owner. As assigned, develop and maintain regulatory affairs department procedures. * Comply with applicable FDA and EU regulatory laws/standards and the Medtronic Code of Conduct. * Other duties as assigned or required. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME): * Bachelor's Degree * 2+ years of medical device experience, with work experience in regulatory affairs with Bachelor's degree. * 6+ months of medical device experience, with Master's degree.
