Position Overview:

The Regulatory HR Consultant will own pieces of the broader work across the Regulatory GHR team. The individual will become a subject matter expert in their focus area(s) and will be asked to integrate across the enterprise, both inside and outside of HR. The successful candidate must have a strong desire to learn, be able to operate in the gray, and be able to simplify complicated scenarios and requests. This position demands attention to detail, while working in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance key regulatory processes (i.e., Conduct, Mandatory Time Away, Covered Employees and Control Function Feedback) for execution by partners

  • Work with significant outputs of data to help identify what the key points of the story are and where else might be worth digging to identify trends, etc. and put together executive-ready presentations

  • Help drive process improvements based on a thorough understanding of the processes and the implications to the LOBs

  • Create and drive timelines and steps necessary for key partners to launch and execute regulatory processes

  • Organize and maintain information for regulatory work streams for historical and reference purposes

  • Perform routine research and follow-up and creating executive reports/analyses

  • Develop presentation materials and present to leadership

  • Utilize project management skills to ensure completion of key processes

  • Work within the Regulatory GHR team to assist with items such as regulatory inquiries, response and open regulatory requests

  • Maintain tools/solutions needed to execute key processes

Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Education:

To be minimally qualified for this role, a candidate must have/be able to:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or Compliance; having an understanding of the regulatory environment is HIGHLY desired

  • Deep intellectual curiosity and ability to thoughtfully manage ambiguity

  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity

  • Leverage resources to be able to gather, present, and communicate data and develop solutions

  • Able to distill large volume of information into a compelling and concise business "story"

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently

  • Proven analytical and data management skills

  • Strong attention to detail; exercise strong quality control over own work

  • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships and provide support.

  • Build repositories and reporting to document compliance with regulatory requirements while also making sense for the business.

  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion, and balance risk and reward with a strong focus on compliance

  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Understanding of Bank of America business and structure

  • Prior experience with Compensation, Compliance, Risk or Audit

Position Summary: The Client Human Resources Consultant plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity for the client. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. * Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. * Keeps records of benefits plan participation such as insurance and pension plan, and human resources transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
