NantHealth, Inc is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to provide operational compliance support for our Personalized Evidence-based Medicine Library, Eviti Connect.
Accountable for the preparation and operational support of compliance for NantHealth as required by laws, regulations, accreditations, and customer contracts
Assists in scheduled and unannounced surveys by customers, accreditation bodies, and regulatory agencies
Assists in evaluation of regulatory compliance and operations from a process perspective across departments and/or multiple service areas
Facilitates and uses change principles to accomplish regulatory compliance and continuous survey readiness
Advises on matters regarding regulatory requirements in the development and implementation of organization plans or activities
Serves as a liaison with external agencies and accreditation bodies as needed (CMS, OCR, URAC, etc.)
Assists in organizational planning for integration of compliance requirements into daily work activities
Manages staff dynamics to facilitate effective discussions and participation in compliance activities
Oversees activities necessary to meet initial and ongoing accreditation and licensing requirements. Includes preparation of policies, procedures, and plans as needed
Assists departments in coordination efforts of policies and procedures, forms, and performance improvement
Tracks new legislation and facilitates discussion and implementation of compliance activities
All other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree required, in healthcare field preferred
5 + years in healthcare regulatory compliance
Ability to travel to multiple NantHealth sites, as needed
Broad based knowledge of complex systems and systems change with demonstrated success in tactical and analytical thinking
Current knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements
