Regulatory Compliance Manager

Position Overview

The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring products sold by Duluth Trading meet regulatory requirements, quality standards and company policies related to safety, environmental, social and legal compliance.

The position will be based in our corporate headquarters, near Madison, WI, but it will offer a hybrid work arrangement allowing the flexibility to work a few days a week from home.

What You'll Do:

• Stay up to date with regulations governing product safety, labeling and environmental standards applicable to apparel, accessories and hard goods.

• Maintain product testing protocols with third-party laboratories to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including CPSIA, Proposition 65 and others.

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that products and manufacturing processes meet safety, quality and environmental standards.

• Maintain accurate records of products and supplier compliance documentation, including test reports, certificates of conformity and social compliance certifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sourcing, quality assurance and legal to integrate compliance into the sourcing and product development lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in compliance management practices. Develop and document standard operating procedures.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree - Equivalent work experience will be considered

• 3+ years of experience

• Knowledge of US safety and chemical regulations, such as CPSIA, CA Prop 65 etc.

• Knowledge of product and material test methods

• Highly organized and detail oriented, with a keen sense of urgency

• Proficient in MS office applications and experience with PLM software

• Knowledge of global sourcing and manufacturing

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000/Year

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
