Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Global Product Regulatory Compliance Data Analyst's purpose is to identify, collect, manage, and maintain Smiths Interconnect Product Regulatory Compliance (PRC) data. This role will drive specific actions related to the assessment of current databases integrity, identification of missing data if any, and the successful recovery and input of thorough PRC data requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Through directions given by the Smiths Interconnect Product Regulatory Compliance Manager, this role is responsible for:

  • Framing the current data and parameters related to regulatory compliance

  • Collecting and assessing the defined data whenever already existing, and developing any missing data through close collaboration with their identified engineering, operations, procurement, quality, and sales internal partners

  • Mapping, developing, and maintaining data related to product regulatory compliance

  • Ensuring Interconnect product materials and substances data accuracy critical to the support of current and future product regulatory requirements

  • Support the development and implementation of a new PRC program, be a principal stakeholder in the development of the PRC material database. and provide input and technical expertise as required to optimize the company's ability to manage product regulatory requirements

  • performing ongoing data maintenance and cleansing activities to ensure all applications and systems contain quality data.

The Individual

  • 3+ years experience identifying and providing customer documentation to support EU, UK, US, Regulatory Compliance processes (REACH, RoHS, EU POP, WEEE, Prop65, TSCA, etc.)

  • Experience of inventory management, BOM and change control processes

  • Knowledge and strong work history of development of data infrastructure support, including the development of capable, accurate data management systems

  • Good visual presentation development skills.

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and transition of data into visually-communicated knowledge skills.

  • Experienced with software packages including Windows, Microsoft Office suite (including strong Microsoft Access and Excel knowledge), Power BI, SQL.

  • Interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams responsible for successful product compliance.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Processes desired.

  • SAP, Glovia, or other database knowledge is desired.

  • Programming languages (python, etc.) is desired.

  • Travel %: 10% or less (minimal).

  • Must be a US Citizen.
